Final Blog!
I really enjoyed learning about the environmental issues associated with health throughout this class. Prior to this course I was not one to care at all about the environment, but some of the articles we looked through really opened up my eyes to the simple things I can do to help reduce environmental hazards. One of the main takeaways from this course for me is the effect of chemicals in products (beauty, food, containers, etc.) that negatively affect my health. Since then, I have been consciously trying to watch what I use and ingest. While this course has been educational, I found the blog to be more trouble than beneficial considering our school's pre-existing Canvas platform. I think the class could be more efficient if the blogs were posted directly onto the Canvas discussion boards.
